Have worked as admin for 5 years with different companies and people. know lot of them. want to start something of my own. thought not financially sound..Have family of 6, financially not sound; have done admin job want to start something of my own,please advise?

It would be better that you continue in the present employment so as not to be deprived of a regular income to maintain a large family.
side by side since you have administrative experience take some part time assignments - such as Tutions, Coaching students in subjects that you may feel strong, Gym practice sessions if you have athletic build. LIC Insurance Agentship or any other Insurance work if the subjcet is of interest to you.
