Can anyone advise how to solve this problem?

First off I have some working knowledge of computers and am capable of most repairs. I have an acer desktop computer. I recently installed a new power supply and the computer worked. Now when I try to power on my computer, the red light on top lights up, the fans spin, but there is not post, no bios beeps, and no green lights. I have tried reseating the ram and the cpu, I have tested the power supply and it passed. Please help. Can anyone advise how to solve this problem?
Check all the cables coming out of the power supply. Unplug each cable one at a time and plug it back in, making sure it is secure. Can anyone advise how to solve this problem?
Assuming your PC is malware free, my 1st question is: How did you test the new PSU? If you don't have an expensive PSU tester, a Multi-Meter only tells you the voltages.

But, here's the 64 dollar question: WHY did you think you needed to replace the old PSU? Did you add or upgrade drives, video or RAM? If so, what are each component's wattage requirements?

What Wattage is the new PSU and what was the old PSU's wattage? And, how long did the new one work AND what hardware did you add that caused it to stop working? Did you upgrade to a new Windows Service Pack or install some other hardware intensive software?

Please answer these, and then, maybe we can help.
one thing to remember is bios beeps whenever the motherboard finds a ram. you said there is no beeping that means there might be problem with ram (may be installation of ram or the ram might not be working)....

try this.... put your ram on your friends system

and also his ram on your system

then you will get a idea what to do???
Stupid question - does the PS have enough wattage to run everything in the case? If it doesn't that could explain the problem.
