I have an interview next week and want to know what to exspect. I want to know what to say and the specific does and don'ts. Best advise please.Interview with bnsf railroad and need advise?
The interview is pretty simple. You will first take a basic math/comprehension test. When you pass that you will then be scheduled for an interview and a hair sample drug test. During the interview it is important that you put an emphasis on safety. Safety is the railroads number one concern. Your interviewer will probably just ask scripted questions from a sheet and copy down whatever you answer. Just give normal kiss butt answers and you will be fine. Good luck, and maybe I will see you out there soon!Interview with bnsf railroad and need advise?
Raildog has given you excellent advice.
I would emphasize his words regarding safety. The word ';safe'; and all its variations should tumble out of your mouth at every opportunity.
Then, if hired, put all those safety words into practice. It is cheap insurance against having a really bad day, one day...
Be sure you tell 'em you got a ';star'; here for asking a safety related question.
I have heard from many that the BNSF is a good outfit to work for.
Good luck !
who is your interview with? what department are is it. do you have a MBA grade point avg. they are big on MBA. the big thing first who and what department are you looking at.
As mentioned before. Every answer should be about safety. Some questions on the test ask if you have to produce 60 items of X in an hour, but can only produce 50, do you cut corners and overlook safety items to pump out the 60? The answer is always NO. It's a kiss butt interview. They want you to say that you will travel anywhere, at any time, in any weather to work for them. They want to know that your life will be solely dedicated to them. They want to know what type of work experience you have with heavy equipment. If you've ever driven a tractor, backhoe, truck...etc....let them know. You have to be willing to work in pouring rain at 33 degrees at 3 am for 12 hours. You HAVE to tell them what they want to hear regardless if you'd really do it........kiss butt. If you have done drugs in the last month to 3 months......don't even go. They do a hair folicle test and WILL find out. If you pop positive.....don't ever expect to hire on at a later date. Dress casual. No suits. Nice jeans and nice shirt is fine. It's not a formal setting. Try to make as much eye contact with the Human Relations person as possible. They do the hiring, not the trainmaster or anyone else there. The trainmaster can only say ';no, I don't want him/her.'; They don't choose who they get, they just can decline the selections. Many don't unless they actually know you. If you're prior military, eat it up, they love military because they get a tax relief for hiring them. Some guys try for 5 or more years. There's really no technique in how they pick. You can have 2 guys exactly the same and 1 may get hired over the other. They also like team players. Show that you work well with others. They asked me if I was ever in a situation that was unsafe and how I handled it. Just tell them how you made the situation safe again without risks. Be relaxed and you'll do fine. Don't get discouraged if you don't get hired the first time. Most people don't.
Follow up on the eye contact. You want that human resource person to notice you. It may be a woman ';mine was'; and when shes talking and looking around....smile at her.....not flirtatious but make her notice you. She'll remember you when you have your 1 on 1 interview later that day or the next. When he/she is talking....nod your head and at least act like your listening intently to them. They tend to look back at the people giving them feedback with body language. This will make them remember your face during your 1 on 1 and up your chances at them selecting you.......because you were paying attention.
Tough Interview Questions
A tough interview question is any question that you're not prepared for. Below are some sample questions you might be asked during a job interview. For each question, formulate a thoughtful answer. Then memorize it. Being prepared to answer these (or similar) questions will make you more comfortable and confident in any job interview 鈥?and increase your chance of being hired.
Never work alone--pay attentions on the social-network.
The social-network is fatal factor for your work present and future, the social-network is the your connections in the society, it can be your parent, friend, classmate, colleagues etc.Good scoial-network can improve your efficiecy, not only on the work itself but also good for your entire future career path.(job-hunting, recruit, professional personal development, life and work advice etc.http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGkmPLtLlH0m鈥?/a>

Knowledge of Yourself
In five words or less, describe yourself. Tell me about yourself. Describe your best friend. Tell me a story. What are your weaknesses? (or: What areas of your job performance could be improved? or: What would you find most challenging about this job?) What special skills do you have? What have you accomplished? What are your goals? Why should I hire you?
Knowledge of the Employer
Why do you want to work for us? How could you contribute to our company's goals? Evaluate your most recent employer. What do you expect from an employer? What is the greatest challenge facing our field today? What sets us apart from our competitors?
Work Environment
Tell me about a problem you once had on the job, and how you solved it. How does an ideal manager make you successful? In your opinion, is conflict inevitable? What is more important to you 鈥?Speed or Neatness? Have you ever been injured at work or at home? How many days were you absent from work last year? How many times were you late for work? Have you ever quit or been fired from a job? Why did you leave your last job? What is more important to you 鈥?Wages or Job Satisfaction? What are your salary expectations? Would you consider working without pay, and if so, under what circumstances? How do you feel about working overtime?
Personality Traits
How do you handle disagreements with your superiors? Do you feel comfortable delegating tasks? What tasks do you like the least? What types of people do you work best with? Are there any types of people who ';rub you the wrong way?'; Are you a leader or a follower? In your last job, what was your biggest disappointment? What motivates you? What makes you angry? What's the greatest honour you鈥檝e ever had? How well do you handle criticism?
Negativity
You seem overqualified for this position; wouldn't you become bored and want to quit? We're looking for a younger person. We can't match the salary you were earning at your previous job.
If you're not sure how to answer one or more of these questions, contact the Ausable Employment Resource Centre and ask for assistance.
Preparing for a Job Interview
You've researched the company that wants to interview you, answered the 40 sample questions that appeared in the previous article, washed the clothes you'll be wearing, and polished your shoes. Are you ready for the interview? Not yet! Here's what else you should do in preparation:
Appraise Yourself. Review your accomplishments by thinking of specific examples. Write them on paper and say them out loud. If you've babysat a total of 16 children aged six months to six years over the past four summers, say so. If you haven't missed a day of work (or school) in two years, say so. If you've catered seven banquets of up to 100 people, say so. If you won an award for the best safety record in your company, say so. These are noteworthy accomplishments; give yourself credit where credit is due.
Think Benefit. Job interviewers want to know how you can benefit their business more than all other competing applicants, so make sure you tell them. Why isn't a list of job duties and responsibilities good enough? Because:
It doesn't show proficiency or skill level.
It doesn't show initiative, creativity, or problem-solving ability.
It doesn't distinguish you from other workers doing the same job.
It doesn't show how an employer benefitted from having you as an employee.
If you were an employer, would you rather hire someone who says ';I did month-end mailings.'; or someone who says ';By computerizing our month-end mailings, I reduced an 8-hour job to 1 hour.'; Would you rather hire the applicant who says ';I transported pallets to a sanitary landfill.'; or the applicant who says ';They had always taken their pallets to the dump. I used the pallets to make compost bins, and sold them for $20 each.';
Give employers enough good reasons to hire you, and they probably will.
Prepare Questions. Make a list of questions to ask the interviewer. Topics might include the company, the industry, products and services, work environment, job details, who you report to, when you'll be contacted, etc. Whichever questions aren't answered during the course of the interview can be asked at the end.
Contact Your References. Tell them the date of your interview, the company's name, and the position you're applying for. Make sure they have a copy of your resume. Remind them of your goals and why you would be a great candidate for this job. Ask if they have any questions, and thank them for their help.
Plan Ahead. Don't be late for the interview! If you're not sure of the location, phone and ask for directions. The day before the interview, go to the location and note how long it takes to get there. Are there train crossings, detours, or road construction along the route? Don't worry if you take a wrong turn and get lost, or you end up at 450 Park Ave North instead of South: the interview is tomorrow, and you won't make the same mistake again.
If you're not doing all of these things in advance, you're not as prepared as you could be.
The Job Interview
When job interviewers meet you in person, they want to find out three important things, namely: 'Why are you here?' 'How can you help us?' and 'What kind of person are you?' (these questions are rarely asked directly, but they could be, so be prepared to answer).
Why are you here? This is another way of asking ';Why do you want to work here specifically?'; If you've answered this in your cover letter, great! Now repeat out loud how the company's goals, philosophy, mission, business practices, service policies, innovations, etc. coincide with your own objectives, values, and background. If you haven't researched the company, too bad for you; your lack of interest in the employer will be mirrored by the employer's lack of interest in you.
How can you help us? This question asks how your knowledge, skills, and accomplishments will benefit the employer. Again, if you've stated this in your resume and cover letter, excellent! Now say it again and back it up with concrete evidence that you've brought to the interview.
This ';evidence'; doesn't have to be a full portfolio 鈥?just a few well-chosen samples that provide proof of your KSAs. Some examples: academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, employee evaluations, awards, newspaper or magazine articles, brochures, technical drawings, creative designs, paintings, photographs, illustrations, diagrams, sketches, charts or graphs, product samples, scale models, inventions or innovations, displays, presentations, reports, essays, research papers, experimental results/conclusions/summaries, project outlines or synopses, contract proposals, business plans, cost/benefit analyses, program developments. If an opportunity to ';show your stuff'; doesn't arise during the interview, ask to present it at the end, and then offer to leave your samples for the interviewers to further examine at their leisure.
What kind of person are you? Call it what you want (personality, behaviour, attitude, character, temperament, disposition, etc.), the kind of person you are is extremely important, and is often the determining factor in whether you get hired. Moreover, it's something that interviewers evaluate merely by watching and listening, so there's no point in you trying to convince them with words 鈥?their observations will be the judge. If they want second opinions on your personality, they'll ask other interviewers or contact your references and ask for a candid assessment.
Nevertheless, the following tips can help to make a good impression: Dress appropriately for the position you're applying, be courteous to everyone you meet, remain alert and attentive, and thank the interviewer(s) before you leave. If you don't understand a question, ask the person to rephrase it. If you're having trouble formulating a reply within a reasonable time, ask to come back to that question later. When asked a Yes or No question, elaborate. And when you can't answer a factual question, an ';I don鈥檛 know'; response is better than wading blindly into a pool of quicksand.
After the Interview
Take Notes
Immediately after a job interview, find a place to sit down and write some notes for yourself. Record the following i

If mccain was president would they advise collections of him like they're doing for obama?
like the obama victory plate, obama coins? they have never done anything like this for any other presidents before. or is it mainly because obama is first black president in history? If mccain was president would they advise collections of him like they're doing for obama?
Because he is the first black president, there may be more interest. However, there is always someone looking to make a worthless piece of junk seem relevant and worthwhile during the lifetime of the opportunity. There has been plates and coins for almost every national event we have ever experienced. If mccain was president would they advise collections of him like they're doing for obama?
They have been making collector plates and coins for presidents for decades. They no doubt had a McCain ones ready to go should the election have gone the other way. Lots of people collect political memorabilia. My husband has stuff going back to the 1800s. And, no, we won't be buying the plate or coin but we do have an Obama piece sitting next to a Ronald Reagan coin.
NOPE!
Unless you want a wife beater on a coin.
See Obama isn't even POTUS yet and the economy is getting better!
I'd say that is pretty good. Imagine how much money is going to be circulated in the US.......................... AND THE INAUGURATION is going to be HUGE!
They do it for tons of people. My redneck ex owned John Wayne plates (and therefore, is my ex). It's not really that big of a deal. No controversy here. I guess my only surprise is that people keep buying the stupid things.
that would not happen for mccain. those coins are being generated from africa and will not even be worth anything for at least another 200 years, just like the so called collectible state quarters that the government made and is spent everyday
It's nauseating all the crap they are peddling for this ';historic event.'; If McCain had won the junk peddlers wouldn't be doing this.
Those are company's there not doing it because they like him there doing it to make money and no they would not do it for Mccain because he's not the first minority Elected to President
I doubt it, but never underestimate the power of capitalism to cheapen and profit from a historic event.
I thought that it had been done before. It just hasn't been as noticed as Obama. This guy is a rock star.
This is all the new jobs Obama keeps talking about, Unloading all this junk off he ships from china!
oh definitely, as the first president with the most idiotic vp
They did it for Bush in 2004.
I remember those coins on QVC for him.
If you were not black would you be asking this question?
Yes honey, they feel that this is a good item for a quick buck.
Mature people will not buy junks.
They put him on coins because he likes.....change.
I don't know for sure %26amp; never will
ebay would be all a-flutter.

Replace Butter With Cream Cheese - Please Advise?
Are they both equal fats? I have a pound cake asking for 1lb of butter but I wanted to use half lb of cream cheese - to create more moisture and density. Will that work?Replace Butter With Cream Cheese - Please Advise?
well it all depends on what ur aiming for. because a serving size of ';PHILEDELHIA'; cream cheese has about 90 calories, but ';i cant believe its not butter'; has 70. if u want less Sat. Fat try the cream cheese it only has 5 but the butter has 7.Replace Butter With Cream Cheese - Please Advise?
use the cream cheese
It will defitly make it more dense. And no that fat content is not the same.
Read the labels on both and see if they are close.
Cream cheese is not a ';fat';. A ';fat'; is oil, butter, margarine, shortening or lard. Try it and see if it works. It probably will give it a lot more density. I don't know about the moisture.
NO, that will NOT work.
i'm not sure, but why not just do a cream cheese pound cake?

Advise me on the quickest tway to get my invetion into B&Q etc?
I have just had my patent grant certificate I have had inovators writing to me but Im not interested in spending anymore money on it as I would rather sell it,it would make millions but i havnt got the energy it is an udgustable cover for a Rotary Drier with detail it has taken me 5 years to get it right I might be lucky to find someone out there to either show me the way.Advise me on the quickest tway to get my invetion into B%26amp;Q etc?
Don't contact B%26amp;Q or any big retailer. They will want all the details and then say ';not viable/too expensive/we'll try 50,000 free on sale or return'; etc.
You walk away disappointed and then a few months later you will see your product in their shops as they copied the design (slightly altered to get round the patent) knowing you will not sue them as they can afford the best lawyers to bankrupt you!
This sounds like something that needs making in China. If you make in the UK it will be copied in China for a fraction of the price (see above) but you are in the same boat!Advise me on the quickest tway to get my invetion into B%26amp;Q etc?
you could contact Trevor Bayliss I know he helps Inventors to realise the market
Can it be produced economically? Do you have the contacts for production? Are you geared up to produce?
B%26amp;Q are retailers -- they would be interested only in a regular, and quantifiable, supply of proven product that they can make adequate profit on.
Once you can put the case to themn that the product 1) Can be supplied at a specified quality and quantity 2) It has proven market potential 3) They can buy it cheap enough .. it might be worth contacting their purchasing people.

What professional do I seek to advise me on issues relating to qualifying for Social Security Disability?
My mom is having trouble qualifying for health insurance. She has many preexsiting conditions and is legally blind. She is 59. My dad had earned income in USA but not my mom. Can she qualify for SSN disability benefits and subsequently Medicare benefits? What professional do I seek to advise me on issues relating to qualifying for Social Security Disability?
First...Go to your Local Social Security office with your Mom and file for SS disability.
Many times (the first time you may be turned down) However, keep applying.
You need to get a couple Doctors opinions on her Health condition and a few Friends to write letters on her behalf....recommending SS disability. She should eventually qualify...But the Governments Red Tape can be frustrating.... Remember DON'T GIVE UP!What professional do I seek to advise me on issues relating to qualifying for Social Security Disability?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if and when she does qualify for SS disability she would not be eligible for Medicare benefits.
Medicare requirements state that she must -
1. be a legal resident in the US for 5 years and
2. reached age 65 OR have been on disability for 24 months.
No, you can't qualify for SSDI based on your SPOUSE'S earnings - you have to earn for your own self. But she can get SSI based on her spouse's income, as a surviving spouse, once she's old enough.
The ONLY exception to this, is for minor disabled children, who can get not SSDI, but it's called something else, when they're disabled as a child, based on their PARENT'S paying into the system. But it goes away the day they get married, and they can never get it again.
She can only qualify for SS disability under very stringent conditions, and if she had no earned income in the US, she doesn't qualify under her own record. If your father has enough quarters, she can qualify as his dependent, both while he is living and after his death, once she reaches the proper age. She may qualify for Medicaid for her health insurance needs.
If she qualifies for SSI, she will receieve Medicare coverage. Make sure you check all your options as applying for SSI a lengthy process.
Can she apply for welfare medical?
I recently received SSD approval and it took three years. Although, I had retroactive medical benefits.
I took the assistance of a company called Allsup, Inc., and they were very helpful in helping me obtain benefits. There is a fee that is only paid if you will receive benefits. You can probably talk to them about your mom's application.

Advise on preventing home break in?
I cannot currently afford a home security system, is there anywhere to obtain the 'ADT' sign for my yard without actually getting the system, so that it looks like on the outside that I do in fact have an alarm system?Advise on preventing home break in?
I'll let you in on a secret. Those systems do no good. I had one once. If you look on the internet, you can find hundreds of stories from disgruntled former customers. Anyway, in a news article I read, they said signs and security systems are hardly a deterrent anyway. The biggest deterrents are leaving your porch light on, having a dog, or having automatic timers on your lights. They are most likely to get in through a window, so make sure your exterior doors are deadbolted and your windows locked. Then apply this new security film (link below) to all your windows. It makes it much more difficult, if not impossible. And have a 6' fence (not chain link) around as much of the back half of your house/yard as possible. You can also buy a set of motion detector alarms for about $20, or even a whole system, and they work on their own with no monitoring. It's the loud noise that drives the bad guys away anyway. The monitoring company will take their sweet time calling for help, if they do at all. Good luck.
I forgot to mention I was told a Beware of Dog sign will actually do more good than an ADT sign. You can pick one up at any discount store.Advise on preventing home break in?
IF YOU CANT AFFORD A SECURITY SYSTEM YOU OBVS HAVE NOTHING WORTH STEALING YOU DUMB *****!
';Beware of dog'; sign is good. A ';Forget the dog,Beware of owner'; sign with picture of a gun is better. Get some cheap motion detector lights. Remove bushes that are close to house. If you have driveway and no car, have neighbour park there. Leave a low wattage light or two on in different rooms so it looks like you are home and awake. Get with your neighbours and watch each others houses. Report suspicious people in your neighbourhood. etc: etc:etc:
you may be able to contact adt and aquire yard sign and door stickers tell them it free advertising
Go into an ADT office and ask at the front desk for a sign and some window stickers. If you only ask for one set, they'll probably give it to you.
And check on the Web for some genuine low-cost alarm products that are inexpensive and don't require monitoring along with the charges.
You people saying to steal one from someone's yard - this is not a good suggestion, nor is it funny.
yes steal it from another yard
Get ahold of your local police department. They have all kinds of info that you can use...WITHOUT stealing signs or putting up BOGUS ones!
Get a very big dog!!
If you DO put an alarm company sign in your yard, you should actually HAVE their services. If the Police are called %26amp; they see that sign, they must first call the company %26amp; you will then be charged for a service call %26amp; if you refuse to pay, you will be sued in court. The police will also write you a ticket for NOT having the proper permits on record %26amp; for fraud! Just make your house looke like there is someone home! :o)
Steal one from somebodies house
no idea, good luck and god bless
sell your home or your possesions

Steal one from somebodies house
no idea, good luck and god bless
sell your home or your possesions

for a persuasive writing you must start with a general idea and then narrow it to a specific idea( I mean your own idea) which is going to be supported later. To support your main idea you can refer to your own personal experiences, the famous quotes or proverbs, the authentic resourses like: books; articles of newspaper, etc.
Good luck

How do I learn methods to make money online (that work) with $10 or so? Can anyone please advise?
The fastest and easiest method to make money online is by being an affiliate.
The number #1 challenge for all affiliates…
Build a Web site…that builds targeted traffic…and that causes visitors to clickthrough…with a warm, open-to-buy attitude…to merchant sites that you represent.
How?
There is an endless labyrinth of possible software and information/advice offered on the Net. I’m not sure which is worse… the overpriced products that underdeliver, or all the free info available, most of which does not work so it costs you something more valuable even than money… your time.
Wouldn’t it be great if the single best approach, explained in detail, was also free?! Here it is…
The Affiliate Masters Course.
This 10-DAY course focuses 100% on helping you, the affiliate, succeed. It leads you, step by digestible step, day by day, through a flawless process…
… from developing a Site Concept
… to brainstorming hundreds of profitable related keywords
… to building a themed site
… to generating motivated, targeted traffic that wants to click on your recommendations, links to the related products sold by merchants you represent.
Do you know what is the most amazing part of this course?
It’s free! 100% free!!
Actually, the “price” is only the second most amazing part. The best thing about the Masters Course is the clear, high-quality, step-by-step, day-by-day content that lays out a process that really works.
The Affiliate Masters Course shows anyone how to become a high-earning affiliate champion. Yes, anyone… from newbie to those already enjoying success. It shows you everything, nothing held back. All the info you need to help you execute every stepis included in one single course. Actually…
It’s better than any other affiliate course or book available anywhere, at any price. No exceptions… but it does raise a question… Why would SiteSell.com, the originators of this course, give it all away? Because they’re hoping that you’ll buy their truly excellent product, Site Build It! (SBI!). You do not have to, of course. (As a matter of fact…aside from delivering the course itself, SiteSell will never contact you again!)
All the info you need to execute a powerful, successful strategy is contained in the Masters Course. Nothing is held back –I was amazed at the great ideas and the perfect process, laid out in an organized and do-able manner.
And while I do totally endorse SBI! as The Perfect Affiliate Business-Builder, you may well find that the course itself is really all you need — SBI! simply delivers the tools to make it even easier and faster to get the job done.
To sum it up, The Affiliate Masters Course strategy for success is simple…
1) Create content that attracts targeted traffic.
2) Then convert that traffic into dollars by causing visitors to click-through to the sites of the merchants that you represent.
3) Develop multiple streams of income through quality merchants (ours, of course, plus other non-competing ones that fit your theme).
Yes, I finally found the single best solution, the total affiliate solution. You’ll graduate as an accomplished affiliate Net marketer, a super-affiliate in the making.

Have you thought about Internet Marketing.
You just have to be careful who you listen to and what you spend your money on as there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there waiting to take your money.
By far the most genuine learning resource I have ever come across is provided by two college graduates who went from broke to making over a million dollars a year.

OK none of those guys helped you.
1. Try to come up with something that people are interested in. About 2-3 things.
2. Blog about them. Also, get domain names for them (not hosting, just domain.).
3. Don't forward domains for about 30-45 days. While doing this, add content to your blogs. Make sure the 2-3 things people are interested in you know a lot about.
4. You will need $10-25 to register for domains ( Yahoo! - 1.99 GoDaddy 6.95) Make sure they have names that are easy to recognize or represent your work ( JuJuMe.com etc.)
5. Get some link exchange. Make sure the link exchanging is are other sites related to work. Don't put hotel links on your site if it is about dog food. You will deter visitors and lower your value on search engines.
6. Keep adding content to your blogs.
7. Use about $8-15. Go to adbrite or find cheap text ads to showcase your sites. Not much, but they'll get your name somewhere.
8. Move your domain names (transfer) to cheap or free hosting sites. These sites are iffy, but since you are forwarding those names to your blogs, you don't have to worry about uptime etc. ( well not too often)
9. Get a huge posterbaord ($1) and write one domain name on the front and one on the back. Go to a huge city in the middle and hold it. It sucks, but now you got people going to the site.
10. Start looking for ads to place on the site. Have a post where people can contact you about adding ads.
11. Go to step 1, look on the internet for each step; a lot of people can explain it better than me.
12. Know that many people fail at the blogging concept, so this isn't automatic in the least. You will probably work harder than you ever did, but if you make it, you could run up $15-30 per day per site, without having to work more than 20 hours a week.
13. This is only one of 1000s of methods out there, but I hope this helps. $10 is too short; you could get by, but you would have a lot less sweat on your brow starting with around $30
Eh save your ten dollars. You shouldn't spend even that to make money online. I suggest using GPT (get paid to) sites, they're free and they pay well. I use them and usually make around one or two thousand dollars a month. There's a link to the sites I use on my profile, and if you've got any questions feel free to email me.
To certain extent I agree with sfoamher....
But I believe in learning, Work hard, Have commitments and use brain wherever required. If you are ready to do all these along with your compu skills you can definitely make money online. Check out my blog http://freeonlinemoneymakingideas.blogsp…

What is glaucoma, does it hurt and what are the symptoms, can anyone advise. Is it hereditary.?
It's an eye problem and can eventually lead to blindness. It can be hereditary. In the early stages there are no symptoms. This is why you should have your eyes tested every 2 years even if you don't need glasses. What is glaucoma, does it hurt and what are the symptoms, can anyone advise. Is it hereditary.?
I don't think it hurts, but the symptoms are raised pressure in the eyes, which can damage the optic nerve if not treated. The field of vision gradually becomes affected, meaning you cannot see around the edges of your vision. This gradually gets worse over time. In severe cases you may only have a very small field of vision, or even go blind. It is treatable with eye drops to reduce the pressure, or surgery if that doesn't work. It is hereditary, if you have family members with this, yo should have regular check ups, I have to go every 6 months. What is glaucoma, does it hurt and what are the symptoms, can anyone advise. Is it hereditary.?
Pedestal was most informative. There is one item that no
one touched on: Glaucoma can be an early sign of diabetes.
There's more than one form of glaucoma...
I would love to be able to tell you exactly what it is.
Fifteen years ago we knew, but now we've made progress and we're not so sure.
The most common form of glaucoma, 90% of cases, does not hurt and has no significant or reliable symptoms until it is quite advanced. It can only be found early by testing for it, which is why routine checks are important for people over 40.
The older classic definition of glaucoma might be ';raised pressure inside the eye, leading to nerve damage,and blindness if untreated.';
It is now known that some people can develop glaucoma *without* raised pressure, and some people with noticably raised pressures do not go on to develop glaucoma.
As the ';pressure test'; alone has become less useful, increasing emphasis is being placed on the visual fields and the appearance of the optic nerve, seen through the pupil.
Rarer glaucomas: Acute glaucoma comes on suddenly and painfully, with distinctive signs and symptoms.
A painful eye with blurry vision needs seeing within hours...
(it's not always glaucoma: acute iritis also produces similar symptoms). Sometimes there have been minor ';warning'; attacks especially in the early hours of the morning.
Acute glaucoma usually affects an older age group than chronic simple glaucoma, but this is not to be relied upon.
Both these types show a definite hereditary factors, but not simple inheritance.
It is possible to be born with glaucoma, and there is a very rare form affecting children.
Glaucoma also occurs secondary to other eye conditions and injuries.
The latest curious link, being investigated, is between eye nerve chages in glaucoma and brain nerve changes in Alzheimer's disease. The significance of this is not yet fully understood.

Glaucoma is a build up of the fluid pressure within the eye. It can get a bit painful and one of the first symptoms I noticed were rainbow coloured haloes round bright lights and, at night when driving, I could not see too well to the left and therefore had a tendency to drive towards the centre of the road! I live in the UK and therefore drive on the left.
I had laser treatment which, in effect, bores fresh drainage holes in the back of the eye and that worked well for a while, but I am now using XALATAN eye drops every night in each eye which control the condition perfectly.
I still dislike very bright lights and wear anti-glare lenses in my glasses. I can now see perfectly to the left, by the way.
It is nothing to do with blocked tear ducts whatsoever.
It is hereditary, my mother had it as well and in the UK, if there is a family history of the condition, I believe one can get free eye tests for life. There is a link between glaucoma and diabetes. My mother who had glaucoma was type 2 diabetic. My brother who is type 1 diabetic does not have the condition.
hey, its when pressure builds up in the eye and if gets out of hand can cause big problems with ur eyesite... u will feel a slight pressure as if someone is sqeezing ur eyeball-my grandma had it and as its known to be hereditary i have been advised to be tested once a year so they can catch anything if it mite occur sooner rather than later-as long as u keep regular appointments with option u should be fine...

Glaucoma is raised pressure within the eyeball. It is a common cause of blindness in the elderly. In its early stages there are no symptoms so you everyone should get their eyes tested every 2 years. Symptoms are pain in the eye, sensitivity to bright lights and haloes. It is rarely inherited but can be a symptom of Typr 2 diabetes. Treatment is with tablets or eye drops to reduce the pressure.

Go to your dentist, I suffered a left eye head ache for 20 years off and on... I went to the dentist.. had teeth pulled due to over crowding..., never looked back... could be that simple for you too... Good luck
See a Neurologist and ask about DEPEKOTE

I don't think they cared that he was a communist, I think it was his having signed a petition intimating the Bush administration had conspired to cause 9/11.
I believe the White House found that embarrassing.
It was only after copies of that petition surfaced that he left.
However it appeared his arrest during a Rodney King demonstration/riot was not as 'wrong place at wrong time' as initially portrayed, as well. I've read that instead of being mistaken identity, he was in jail for months. Why would having a communist advise a president be a reason to resign?
Van Jones is not a communist and he has disavowed any connection to communism. Van Jones has made many statements that confirm his capitalistic beliefs. Had you acknowledged that, I'd have a lot more respect for you.
';We are not promoting welfare. We are promoting work. ... We are not expanding entitlements. We are expanding enterprise and investment. ... We are not trying to redistribute existing wealth. We are trying to reinvent an existing sector, so that we can create NEW wealth - by unleashing innovation and entrepreneurship. This should be common ground.'; ~ Van Jones
Does that sound communist to you?
Blame Obama. If he had the courage of his convictions, he would have supported Van Jones. Instead, he threw him under the bus rather than admit his support. It's apparent that Obama is much, much farther to the Left than he has portrayed himself. But since he won't admit that, it's easier to ditch people like Jones when it becomes uncomfortable to him, and then blame Fox News.
He was attacked by the media, and like Sarah Palin, he decided it would be better for our country if he resigned rather than deal with the constant attacks.
I am more worried about the radical free marketeers and their plans for the future. If they actually have any.

CPS is wrongfully acting in my life. Where should i turn for advise or direction?
My babies have been wrongfully taken and I need HELP fast. What can I do?CPS is wrongfully acting in my life. Where should i turn for advise or direction?
Hire a lawyer, first. I would try and show up at the next hearing with a job, a place for them to live, and successful completion of whatever classes they may have ordered for you (anger mgt., substance abuse.....)
From what I have seen CPS doesn't take kids out of a whim. They take them usually when there is imminent physical danger or ongoing abuse/neglect.CPS is wrongfully acting in my life. Where should i turn for advise or direction?
you have to go to the district attorney and find out what exactly happened then go to the public defenders office and hope they give you a good lawyer, because thats what you need good luck and God bless from Grant M
You have given us no infromation as to why CPS took your children! Please submit!

What does a gardener guru advise me what to do??
What do you think of my potted plants(500 of them) in the ground won't grow but in the pot( they're blooming). What does a gardener guru advise me what to do??
there is a problem with your soil ; pending what sort of plants ; you have --- but i'd not mind betting that it ( the soil in your garden ) is too acidic and needs to be rectified --- but not knowing much other than what you have said --- that is definately the problem ( the garden soil ) --- and simply your plants are doing well in potting mix --- because they ' like it there ' --- anyhow my suggestion is to get a sample of your soil and take it to the nursery for analaysis --- or get a soil test kit and do it yourself ( if you have 500 plants --- you must have some idea of what you are doing ) good luck .What does a gardener guru advise me what to do??
I do feed them with miracle gro granules every 2 weeks. I love talking to my plants because they're so pretty %26amp; %26amp; full of life Thanks for the advice
When they were in the ground, did you...
Periodically change their soil to newer enriched stuff.
Feed them fertilizer.
Water them as they needed, and gave their roots a really good soaking.
Pruned dead leaves and insect off any time they appeared.
Talked to them, telling them how beautiful they are.
Because when you care for your potted plants, you most likely do almost all of those things.
Are you still wondering why the plants do ';better'; in pots than in the ground?
Agree with Bill. It's all about the difference in quality of the soils.
Give the plants in the ground weekly or biweekly feeding of MiracleGro.
500, impressive!

Is an officer required to advise the arrestee of his rights immediately upon arrest?
Yes, the officer is required under federal law to read the arrested person their rights. Is an officer required to advise the arrestee of his rights immediately upon arrest?
When a suspect is taken into custody, they will be read their Miranda Warning - if the police do not read them this, then any incriminating statements the suspect makes whilst in custody will not be counted as evidence, so it's sensible for any policeman to read them their warning, even though it is not unlawful for them not to do so.
Being taken into custody is different from being under arrest, though their freedom of movement in restrained somewhat - they are not being charged with a crime.
Hope that helps xxxxIs an officer required to advise the arrestee of his rights immediately upon arrest?
No.
I don't read Miranda rights at all to most people I arrest.
It's only required if I am going to question you after I arrest you. Most people I arrest I don't need to question, so no Miranda rights.
Even if an officer DOES question you without reading your rights first does NOT throw out the whole arrest. It only throws out whatever you told him during questioning.
No. Only if the officer tries to question you. If you are arrested and transported without questioning there's no need to read you your rights. They'll be read to you when you're booked into the jail.
Seems like they always did when I was arrested. Of course I was usually drunk, and it's been a few years. So I don't really know.
There is so much violence in our world.

Could anyone offer me any advise about getting data for the coursework in GCSE Psychology?
The only way that you could do this by email is to get your visual picture and send it as an attachment to 20 people that you know (Other GCSE students or teachers perhaps via a school email address if you have one set up). Tell them that you are conducting a study for your psychology coursework and that you would like to know what they can see in the picture and ask them to reply with a response.

When preparing the employment contract,i was told to seek lawyer advise/approve in the content. is it a must ?
I was in the mid of preparing the employment contract, but i was told that the employement contract must be approved by the lawyer or is better to seek for advise? However i feel the contract is only within the employer and employee.
Kindly advice , should i spend the money on the lawyer consultant?
Thank you. When preparing the employment contract,i was told to seek lawyer advise/approve in the content. is it a must ?
You should always seek legal advice, especially if you have the money.
If not, use examples of other employment contracts for large companies. They have in-house legal departments and their forms are reviewed to hold up in court.
*When preparing the employment contract,i was told to seek lawyer advise/approve in the content. is it a must ?
Absolutely not. Ask if they want the job and when they say yes, you have a contract. Why complicate it?

Please advise me where I should go for holidays?
I was thinking of traveling to somewhere nice, a change from Mecca. Currently, Mecca is too hot and is always overcrowded - there's no breathing space for me over there.
So I was thinking of seaside, waving palm trees, waterfalls, jungles, etc.
What country do you suggest that I should explore?
Thanks for your time in reading this from me.
What's your country like? And what's the weather like where you are? Please advise me where I should go for holidays?

I would suggest all of the West,India %26amp; Israel!

Bangladesh is allot like that , but I wouldnt recommend going there either , I think there may be a tsunami resulting from that 7.5 high magnitude earth quake in the Indian Ocean. Actually I wouldnt recommend going anywhere near south Asia for a while.
China is nice , but its so hard when you dont know anyone there.
New York is very hot now , but watch it rain in a few days because of the humidity and dew point relativity. I dont like it much.
I hear Afghanistan is nice this time of the year - you can visit the taliban resort!
I live in America. America is America.
Please stay in Mecca.
It is nice there.
Seaside and palm trees are for sinners who drink and eat pork.

Please advise how to create a form for a solid concrete staircase that will rise up 4 feet to a wood deck.?
I can't have an open cavity underneath it because i don't want critters making a home down there. This will be a straight shot up. One builder wants to pour concrete into a form with rebar and do the entire thing from a concrete truck. Another builder wants to use cinder blocks to build up most of the base, and then hand mix concrete to cover the rebar and stairs - forming a 2'; slab across all the steps. I don't want to spend more than 800 dollars.
Does anyone know the best way to build this staircase? 4 feet high, 4 feet wide and a total length of 6 feet from end to end as measured on the dirt. Exterior. Thanks so much! Please advise how to create a form for a solid concrete staircase that will rise up 4 feet to a wood deck.?
First consideration is that the concrete stairs have a substantial footing underneath them. The footings should be below the frost line and rest on undisturbed soil according to local building code requirements. The footing must be sized correctly so that the considerable weight of the stairs is evenly distributed. Failure to do the above will ensure that that the stairs will surely heave and settle as the seasons change. Eventually the stairs may even become unsafe and unusable.
It is common practice to use block, rock, soil, and other rubble to fill the bulk of the space inside the forms. Doing otherwise is simply a huge waste of money since concrete is expensive. I would insist on ready mix concrete from a concrete truck because bagged concrete mised by hand tends to produce a less than desirable result when used in flatwork and stairs.
Even with concrete steps, you will still need to install handrails according to code. This is more difficult and expensive on concrete. I guess you can see where I am going with this.
I would seriously consider having a good set of wooden stairs and railings built instead of concrete.
Good luck with your project. Please advise how to create a form for a solid concrete staircase that will rise up 4 feet to a wood deck.?
The solid concrete pour will require temporary forms to built for the sides and each step. Plywood and 2x4s, plus some bracing - that's a day or two of time for a carpenter, then you throw it all away after the pour.
The concrete (cinder) blocks won't need a form - they will be the form. So you are paying for someone to lay bricks.
The biggest cost will be determined by how large of a landing do you need at the top step. If you can just build steps and a small landing, you save yourself a lot of time and materials because the size of the landing will require either a lot of concrete under it, or a lot of blocks. Your building code might have a minimum requirement for the landing dimensions.
I would think the concrete blocks will be more cost-effective. You might ask that builder to see if he can use an expanded metal lath to hold the 2'; of concrete on top of each step row. Rebar could be use to connect the blocks together, but the lath would have small holes to hold the concrete steps. If you decide with the concrete block design, I suggest you build a 4'; thick rebar-reinforced base for all the blocks to have a level base on which to sit.
Also consider the rise %26amp; run of each step. Again, codes will be a guide, but I have seen stairs from 7'; by 7'; up to 9'; by 9';, and any combination within those limits. A solid concrete poured stairway will give you exactly what you want, but a concrete block stairway rise and run will be determined by the height and width of each block (typically 8'; x 8'; x 16';.)
Wow! and for under 800 bucks? I also think you'll have settling and cracking problems with that much concrete. Whoever offers to build something for you, ask to see one thats been around for a few years.
if you build the form it will take along time do to the wieght of the concrete the form would need to be very stong. Use std 12'; block that's 8'; high 16'; long 12'; deep mortar them together and fill the core with concrete you will achieve the same results with less time because when you fill the core solid you can use dry readymix from the bag it will harden over time and it will be a very stong structure. then you can cap the treads with concrete or buy stone and take it up a notch.. BAM

Looking for 2 nightstands in satin metal, any advise please?
what is wrong with one night stands?Looking for 2 nightstands in satin metal, any advise please?
I haven't seen nightstands in metal in my area, but if I were looking for these, I would check first with some of the suppliers of heavy-duty commercial/industrial shelving and storage products. You will likely be able to find a small shelving/storage unit in the right dimensions on wheels, then just remove the wheels if they don't have a locking mechanism.
The second and third options would be either custom-made (any cabinetmaker who does stainless steel kitchens would be able to make them), or to just go buy some metallic paint and less expensive nightstands in a style you like. Good luck!Looking for 2 nightstands in satin metal, any advise please?
They have really nice spray metalic finish paints. I would spray the nightstands and see if that works for you. Go to a tool department or an auto parts store and see if you can find a small cabinet that you would be able to use.

Need advise about cockatiel tail feathers?
My son has 2 cockatiel's, he is concerned because the younger one always seems to have damp tail feathers when he is handling him. The other does not. Does anyone know what this indicates? Is it a sign of poor health?Need advise about cockatiel tail feathers?
Damp tail feathers?驴? That's odd. Are they in the same cage? Even if they weren't they usually have a favorite spot to sit on. He could've picked his water bowl to sit on all the time and that could explain it. Mine prefers to sit on his cuttle bone when it's bed time. But if it's damp near his butt, maybe the food doesn't agree with him and maybe change what he's eating. But it sounds more like he's playing or doing something in the water bowl. A sign of poor health would be if he were sitting on the bottom of the cage not doing anything with his eyes closed. Feathers all puffed up.Good luck.Need advise about cockatiel tail feathers?
damp? that's a new one...
few things to start with...
Pellet or seed diet?
Fresh fruits and vegi's on a daily basis?
Are the birds caged together or seperate?
Are they covered at night?
Does the poop look normal? (white center green around the outside? if it's runny or a different color and you haven't fed any fruits or vegi's the bird should be taken to an avian vet.)
Do the birds have annual ';well'; bird check ups? This includes blood tests to check heart and liver normalties.
Do they have water dishes or bottles??
Most likely it is sitting in the water bowl ..They like water in their cage to clean them selves. So more than likely thats just what he has been doing.beauty eye

What do i do for a better work-out? I feel tired very soon. Any advise on what i can do to overcome this?
I started gym 2 weeks back but am not able to workout even for an hour. I get very tired. I'm also embarrassed coz everyone else at the gym seem to be very fit and able. Is there anything i can do to overcome this and do better? I heard protein shakes help. Is that true? And if it is then when should i drink it? Thankyou in advance. What do i do for a better work-out? This could be many reasons. Maybe you need a multi vitamin. Maybe you need to get your blood checked out. Maybe your not eating enough or not driving enough water. If you just started going to the gym it will take a while to get used too. Start to work out 15 min and a 5 min each day until you build up to what ever time you want to work out. Dont over do itWhat do i do for a better work-out? I feel tired very soon. Any advise on what i can do to overcome this?
maybe you are going too fast or have the incline too high...im not sure what your using but yeah just try going slower with a lower incline so you can last longer and eventually go faster (after a week or two)

Any advise for a first time home buyer with fair credit?
I'm not looking for a mansion, just a small single family home around the $50,000 range for starters. I don't want to settle for junk either. What about loans? Who's the best for first timers?Any advise for a first time home buyer with fair credit?
Your mortgage is very small and you should not have any problem. I got mine from Wells Fargo Bank but for you I would say talk to your bank where you have your checking account.Any advise for a first time home buyer with fair credit?
Shop around for several different lenders.
Look at closing costs, not just the interest rates.
Find out if they ever discount their interest rate or closing costs (e.g. if you also have a savings/checking account, have automatic bill pay to pay your mortgage, etc.)
Depending on your credit score and income level, the best company varies. Right now the going rate for home loans is between 6 and 7%. If your credit score is below 650, go with what is called a ';sub-prime lender'; they specialize in lending to people who have so-so credit or maybe have never bought a house before. Long Beach Mortgage is a division of Washington Mutual and they are such a company. You can check out their website and also WaMu's website to learn more about first time homebuying.
I would recommend two options. First is one of the new versions of the FNMA MyCommunity loan. These loans have lenient credit criteria, and are available with 30, 35 and 40 year terms. They are even available with 10 year interest only periods. No down payment is required and the seller can pay 6% of the sales price to cover your closing costs. There are income limits based on the HUD median income for your area. The second option would be an FHA loan. These are excellent for people who have limited credit or fair credit. You should be able to get good interest rates on either. You should call a couple of different lenders to compare rates. Not all will have these programs and many will not rush to do a $50000 loan, but you should be able to find a source fairly quickly.
See if there are any state-run loan programs where you are that can get you a lower interest rate. For example, in Pennsylvania there is the PA Housing Finance Agency, that can get you lower rates if you meet certain qualifications.

What advise could you give me regarding my AS level examinations?
study, of course, but don't over-stress.
Too many people make themselves seriously ill worrying that if they don't do well it's the end of the world.
If the worst should happen and you fail all your exams - you can still go to uni as a mature student in a couple years. I didnt go to uni - despite passing my A-levels - and yet now i'm married, i own my own business, and plan to do a degree next year (I'm 25).
the worst thing you can do is panic. take your time, and do a little revision every evening. I find that the best way of revising is to write summaries of the chapters in your textbook - writing helps to cement things in your head, but writing word for word is no good because your brain doesn't need to do any work.
Summarizing means you have to know the facts.
Good Luck! What advise could you give me regarding my AS level examinations?
My best advice? RELAX! Remember if you aren't happy with your grades you can always resit.
Revise, but don't run yourself into the ground. Take very regular breaks, and make revision fun!
I remember my mum putting pressure on me to revise - so i'd tell her i was meeting a friend at the library in town to revise. We'd study for half an hour, then shop for an hour and so on! Remember half an hour of solid work is worth more than two hours of bored, half hearted effort.
Good luck, I'm sure you will be fine :)

Any advise for a first time gym user please?
I am looking to lose some weight and have joined the local gym for 2 months.
Please can you advise what equipment i should start using and for how long?Any advise for a first time gym user please?
hey there..
well the first thing u want to do is learn all the equipment and machines learn how to use the free weights ( dumbells) for u to get results.. u are looking at being very regular with the gym.. the gym is going to be your new best freind :)
so expect to go 4 - 6 days a week...
u will need 30 - 40 mins of weight training
and u will also need 30 - 45 mins of cardio training on the machines
u need high reps meaning 10 - 12 reps to tone your body and burn some fat. u have to train all your muscles
and u need the cardio to burn body fat and build your heart rate up..
so learn how to work out your muscles and learn how to do full body workouts ask questions at the gym like how to work your shoulders, and biceps, or triceps, people will tell u.. and also get someone that works at the gym to run u through a workout that hits all your muscles...someone that works there owes it to u to spend a bit of time to explain the machines there
and also ignore that poster that said going to a gym will not be as effective as spending more time outside..... while its good to do things outside and the more active u are the better.. but ultimately if u want to get more fit and lean and strong.. the more muscle u have on u the more calories u burn.. and u need intense exercise through the cardio and weight training to burn fat.. so please ignore them.. and do not be discouraged :)Any advise for a first time gym user please?
Before you use any of the equipment you MUST have an induction with one of the gym's fitness instructors (it's the law!)
Then you can either ask a fitness instructor to devise a suitable programme for you based on your goals and current fitness level, or you can make one up yourself. When starting out on a weight loss programme it's best to take things easy, to minimise the risk of injury. Aim to do at least 30 minutes on a cardio machine (eg rower, stepper, bike, treadmill) followed by some resistance training - as a beginner it's best just to do basic exercises eg bench press (chest), squats (thighs), barbell curl (biceps), dips (triceps) etc. For each exercise do 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps.
I go to the gym 3 days a week for 40 Min's each time. All i do is cardio, i use the cross trainer, treadmill, and the 2 different types of bikes for 10 Min's each time. This and watching what you eat results. If you looking to lose weight don't eat before a workout, drink plenty of water before and after.
Best way to lose weight: Intense work and a really (*******) good diet.
Learn barbell techniques and do intense weightlifting.
Back Squat and Front Squat
Dead Lift
Bench Press
Pull-ups/Chins
5X5
This is the first things a new gym rat should do. If you later decide on bodybuilding or power lifting, these exercises will be what you will be using.
They work for any crazy reason you'd want to lift weights for.
-
I also want to add in Sprinting. Serious intense sprinting intervals will shred you fat off in a couple of months, if not less.
Ok. First of all you have to write out your goals. Most gyms have personal trainers on site. The best thing to do is exercise body sections first. For example. Day 1 - do upper body exercises only. That includes arms, shoulders, chest. Then Day 2 - do lower body exercises, front leg, back leg, calves. Every day do 30 min of cardio but make sure you are in your burn zone. If you don't have a heart monitor that straps around yoru chest to monitor your heart rate, then use the treadmills that have the sensors that will do it for you. I fyou are not walking/running in your burn zone you are not buring fat. Again, if this is your first time in a gym I really recommend that you ask someone at the gym to help you your first week.
Gym's have their place. You wouldn't want all that equipment cluttering up your house. However, for weight loss purposes they aren't much use. Long aerobic session, like running or cycling outdoors are far more effective. You'll lose more weight running to and from the gym than by anything you do while you're there.
dude for you, not to sound mean or anything, but any machine will improve your fitness level for right now at least, because you are a beginner in working out and your muscles aren't adapted to any kind of workout so you are pretty much free to choose which side you want to be a part of...
So a better question for you to ask, should you be a more endurance kind of guy or a more fast pace sprinter kind of guy?
I would like to recommend you my diet method that works fast. I get correct diet method and applied the method, then I lost weight fast. You must have the method that works. You can get the best method diet that worked for me and lost 11 pounds after 30 days. You can get more info at link below.
First off, see if someone at the gym will give you a run-through on all the equipment so you know what you have at the gym.
Start easy. Learn the right way so you dont hurt yourself and you build up gradually. Work up to a hour five or six times a week.
If it's a decent gym the staff there should be advising you, it's in their interests that you don't injure yourself
Don't be shy .

Any advise on purchasing more RAM for my Dell computer?
I want to make my computer go faster and have lots of memory on had drive. So, I wonder what the best brand would be and where I would get it and if it is an easy thing to install. Thanks for any input - I live in Ottawa, Ontario.Any advise on purchasing more RAM for my Dell computer?
If you go to the Dell website and type in the number on your service tag, it will bring up your system configuration and give you information on what type memory you need. Then just call and shop around and get the best price that you can find.
https://support.dell.com/support/downloa鈥?/a>
Ram is easy to install, and the new ram that you buy will have installation instructions printed right on the package. Once you take the cover off your computer, you'll see that the old ones just slide out, and the new ones just snap in - be sure you push it in the right way, gently, but be sure it snaps into place, all the way down.Any advise on purchasing more RAM for my Dell computer?
Memory isn't related to the hard drive at all, common misconception
Depending on what you have now, 1gig-2gigs is fine. Some computers have 4 slots but some only have 2, so depending on that it limits your choices, but I would recommend getting at least 1gig and a half. One gig runs around $150 but you can get half that [wouldn't recommend this] for half the price. [512 stick]
make sure you find out exactly what type you need, take your memory out and bring it to the best buy salesman or whatever store you have
First off are you looking for memory not hard drive anything. A mem stick is the biggest speed increase for your money. I would go to tigerdirect.com and online chat with a tech on there they can most likely get you an extra stick of memory to fit your pc.
Get the most RAM it can handle. It's dead easy to install.
Just push the clips at the end of the stick(s) open simultaneously, then set the new stick in and push down gently and evenly til the clips snap back shut again. Make sure it's correctly aligned first. You'll need to press fairly firmly sometimes, but be careful.
Destatic yourself by touching some grounded metal thing like a pipe or computer case first. Hold it by the edges, not the chips on the face of it!
Corsair makes the best ram, and I've heard good about ocz brand too.

Go to a tool department or an auto parts store and see if you can find a small cabinet that you would be able to use.

few things to start with...
So more than likely thats just what he has been doing.

Need advise for entering in a dog show?
I have a beautiful show quality Pomeranian with many champion titles in this blood line. I want to get into showing but i am not sure how to start. any advise?Need advise for entering in a dog show?
Call your local kennel club. Most of them run handling classes that are a great mix of novice and experienced handlers. They will help you with everything from grooming, to stacking on the table, to gaiting. Also, go to some shows in your area and talk to the owners and handlers (after they have been in the ring) and watch how they do it. (go to www.infodog.com and search by state) Also, talk to the breeder you got your dog from for advice on grooming, etc..Need advise for entering in a dog show?
Find a mentor in the breed. The best place is with a local or national breed club (or your dog's breeder).
If your in the USA, your dog will have to have full registered with either the American Kennel Club or the United Kennel Club.
For both, go to their websites, visit their ';Events'; page, find a show you would like to enter, download an entry form, fill it out with the appropriate money and send it in. They'll send you a conformation of the show, your armband number, the classes you entered and directions.
I suggest you contact your dogs breeder, she will be able to help you get started.

Corsair makes the best ram, and I've heard good about ocz brand too.beauty eye
